Watson sat down and peered at the evidentiary document. It appeared as though the Dominix had been destroyed in a high-security system, most likely within a mission deadspace. However, all identifying traces of the victim had seemingly been removed.

"I say Holmes! Judging by the loss-mail, the pilot must have been a mere boy no older than thirteen, in all probability making use of his parents' credit card to obtain these expensive fittings. What other explanation could there be for such a slovenly and careless expenditure of ISK on such a low-grade ship?"
Holmes waved his hand dismissively.
"Elementary, Watson."
He picked up a nearby vial of liquid, sipped from it, turned, and offered it to his bewildered companion.
"Examine, if you will, the flavour of these carebear tears. Their sad and salty nature is most different than the rage-fueled bitterness one would expect to be extruded by an internet-addled teenage male."
Holmes took a seat on the nearby ottoman.
"Notice also how, despite being completely at fault, the pilot refused to accept responsibility for initiating the conflict..."
"My God Holmes!" Watson exclaimed. "Could it be that you are suggesting the Dominix was piloted by... A WOMAN?!?"
"You tell me, Watson." Holmes smiled. "The fair sex is your department."
